Bach Flower Remedies – Pushpamrut

Bach Flower Remedies are developed by Dr. Edward Bach, an British Physician during the 1930s. Named after him, the Bach  flower remedies comprise of 38 plant-based watered extracts formulated to balance emotional disturbances and stress, which Dr. Bach believed could result in physical illness. Each remedy is associated with a particular emotion or mental state that disturbs our happiness, such as fear, sadness, uncertainty, doubts, loneliness, etc.

The remedies work on the principle that emotional harmony can help the body heal itself. According to Bach’s philosophy, addressing emotional issues such as anxiety, indecision, or sadness etc can prevent or alleviate physical ailments. Though widely used as a complementary treatment, the remedies are subtle and are not substitutes for medical care; one needs to continue to take the medicines they are prescribed.

A typical dose of Bach Flower remedies are four pills or four drops of the selected remedy, taken four times a day. Bach Flower Remedies are taken either directly on the tongue or diluted in water or taken it in white pills form. For chronic emotional imbalances, it is suggested to take the remedy consistently over time of few months. The remedies are considered safe for all ages, including children, expecting mother, lactating mother, senior citizens [in general any age group] and pets. As they are watered extracts of flowers, they have no known side effects and are safe. The remedies act in a subtle way and need to be taken for few months as per guidance by the Therapist.

They can be taken to cope with issues like managing anxiety, panic, sadness,  possessiveness, anger, jealousy, repetitive thoughts, impatience, perfection, grief, feeling lonely, increasing concentration, increasing grasping of concepts in studies, helps in being expressive, staying grounded, build confidence, improving decision making skills, healing guilt, trauma, shock; managing emotions during hormonal balance [like PMS, during  pregnancy, post child birth, menopause], become flexible in thinking, adapt change, curb dependency, heal addictions to mobile/ gaming/ substance etc.

Aura spray

The Aura spray is a combination of Bach Flowers remedies which helps one stay calm, they radiate positivity which keeps negative energy away. It can also be used to ward off negative energy colloquially called ‘Buri Nazar’, so its best if you can use the spray before leaving house. If you feel heavy or extremely drained of your energy after you return from a new place, or when your house energy feels low after someone has visited and you feel uneasy, use this spay and you will feel lighter and free of the negative energy. It can also be sprayed on your vehicle while you travel or spray it on yourself if you are taking the public transport. You can also use it along with the ‘Calming pills’. Calming pills are to be taken min 30 mins before you go for an important meeting/ interview or exams. Situations where you witness an accident or an emergency which disturbs you, affects you, you can’t stop thinking about it, its best then to take Calming pills and also use Aura spray.

Directions to use Aura spray – Spray it on your Chakra points on the front and the dorsal [back] of your body. You can also spray it on your clothes back side of the chakra points and use the spray on the remaining chakra points on your body.
